Cortex Code Integration

Execute Python and SQL directly in Snowflake from within Genesis.

Unified Connections System

A single Connections API replaces per-tool credential management.

Git Commit Authorship

Commits from Genesis bots now show proper author identity.

Data Export to Git (CSV, JSON, JSONL, Parquet, XLSX)

Query results can now be exported directly to a git repository.
  • Universal _export_data_to_git_repo() helper for CSV, JSON, JSONL, and Parquet export across SQLAlchemy and Databricks paths
  • XLSX export format support added for all database connections
  • Binary file handling fixed for XLSX/Parquet exports
  • Temp file leak prevention with try/finally cleanup

Electron IPC Bridge

Genesis can now run as a packaged Electron app without a local HTTP port.
  • IPC-based communication between Electron renderer and Python backend via stdin/stdout JSON-RPC
  • Unix Domain Socket for high-volume event streaming (resolves buffering issues)
  • Stop button support in IPC mode
  • Plotly dashboard rendering enabled in Electron IPC mode

Streaming Tool-Call Interleaving

Tool call boxes now build progressively during streaming instead of appearing all at once.
  • Tool call groups render in real time as the agent works, matching the live experience
  • Agent preamble and mid-amble text appears above tool call boxes with a single avatar
  • Consecutive tool call groups merge when separated by short text, reducing visual clutter
  • Title shows distinct tool types with counts (e.g. “Cortex Code (x4)”)
  • Collapsed artifacts capped at 3 with a “+N more” link
  • Tool icons integrated into message display

Enterprise Context Graph Redesign

Improved readability and new bulk operations for the context graph.
  • Level-aware node sizing: system-level nodes render large with labels inside, deeper nodes render smaller with pill labels below
  • Visual hierarchy: known source systems (Snowflake, Kafka, Informatica, etc.) as bold solid circles; satellite nodes as ghost outlines tinted with parent system color
  • Collision force prevents node overlap; luminance-aware text colors for readability
  • Bulk operations (BULK_ADD_NODES, BULK_ADD_EDGES, BULK_REMOVE_NODES, BULK_REMOVE_EDGES) reduce MCP round-trips from N calls to one, wrapped in a single SQLite transaction
  • Import/export the entire context graph as a ZIP with replace or append modes

Blueprint Import/Export

Share and transfer blueprints between environments.
  • Import button with drop zone in the blueprints header; Export button on custom blueprint cards
  • ZIP-based packaging with path traversal and ZipSlip validation
  • Keyboard-accessible import drop zone

Dashboard Improvements

  • Replace browser fullscreen with modal overlay plus “Ask Eve about this dashboard” chat drawer

Mission Replay Improvements

Replay mode now shows tool call activity progressively.
  • Tool call boxes build incrementally during replay, matching the live streaming experience
  • Auto-expands the latest tool call box so users can follow activity without manual clicks
  • Fixed replay getting stuck after human input by preserving original timestamps through dead-air compression

Agent Status Support

  • Agents can be toggled ACTIVE/DISABLED from Agent Center
  • Disabled agents hidden from sidebar; chat with disabled agents prevented
  • Dexter demo runner agent initializes as DISABLED on fresh installs

Bug Fixes

Dark mode
  • Blueprint library uses theme-aware colors for delete modal and button sizing
  • React-arborist tree components use CSS variables instead of hardcoded light-mode colors
  • Sidebar uses darker accent colors for Chat with Eve and Chat with Agent buttons
  • Stop button colors corrected in dark mode
Chat and scroll stability
  • Query result embeds no longer flash on scroll or keystrokes (SSRM page cache, stable refs, memoized callbacks)
  • Pasted image previews work in React Strict Mode (fresh blob URL on each mount)
  • Tool call box spacing tightened with scroll on expanded details
Data Browser
  • New-style connections supported in Data Browser and ad-hoc SQL queries
  • PermissionError in query_database returns clean error instead of 500
  • Connection string parsing handles dotted format and normalizes db_type hints
Context graph labels
  • Labels only placed inside system-level nodes with sufficient radius, preventing text cramming in small nodes
Git browser
  • Search filter auto-clears when expanding a folder or selecting a file
  • Repo name rendered as a clickable link to the Git Browser tab
Blueprint library
  • Delete confirmation no longer re-appears after success; list updates without refresh
  • Redirects to All Categories when the last blueprint in a category is deleted
  • Fixed double-nesting in import target path that broke auto-registration
  • Cache invalidated after blueprint changes; register blueprint after copy
Other fixes
  • Thread title generation improved for long tool chains and conversations
  • Mermaid uses UMD bundle to resolve chunk import issues
  • Repetition guard bypassed for tool commands
