Genesis v1.19.71 Release Notes

June 19, 2026 Git-backed Knowledge Base documents, customizable Data Estate layouts, stronger connection governance, and broad reliability improvements across LLM providers, the Context Graph, and agent administration.

Knowledge Base and Managed Documents

Repository-backed document workflows bring version-controlled Knowledge Base content into the same managed-source model used for Genesis Apps and blueprints.
  • Git-backed document feeds let operators register a repository as a managed source for one or more Knowledge Base indexes, with bidirectional sync between the repo and Genesis.
  • Agents can propose edits to managed documents, stage changes, and open pull requests (or merge requests on GitLab) with proposer attribution and provider-aware status labels.
  • The documents list shows In review pills when a clean index has an open pull request, and reconciles state when a pull request is merged or closed outside Genesis.
  • Document adoption preview and export-to-repo flows support overwrite confirmations when registering a managed source over existing indexes.

Context Graph and Data Estate

The wiki and Context Graph experience gained layout customization, better navigation, and more reliable scanning.
  • The Data Estate page now supports Edit Layout: admins with configuration access can reorder sections (Overview, Areas, Systems), hide sections they do not need, and save layout preferences that persist across scans and page reloads.
  • Improved Context Graph URL handling: browser “back” button restores previous state.
  • Context Graph scans consult model assignments during credential refresh, keeping pre-scan LLM configuration in sync when providers switch.
  • The wiki extractor now supports the same LLM provider options as the Context Graph scanner, so estate overviews and wiki content can use your configured provider instead of a hardcoded default.
  • Wiki content ranking uses an improved degradation ranker with decay, surfacing fresher and more relevant learnings over time.
  • Past SQL query recall now includes queries against tables that have not yet completed full wiki validation, so agents can find recent work sooner.

Data Connections

Connection setup, ownership, and scope management are clearer and more flexible for administrators.
  • Admins can change a connection’s scope (personal vs. system) and owner after creation, without recreating the connection.
  • OAuth connection setup auto-selects the appropriate auth method, replaces a non-functional test button with working flows, and hides egress configuration steps that do not apply to non-Snowflake connections.
  • Per-user and git-backed connectors resolve defaults correctly after a platform migration, restoring reliable access for connectors that previously hit a dead code path.

LLM Providers and Chat Reliability

Provider configuration and error handling improved across Snowflake, Bedrock, Cortex, and LiteLLM proxy deployments.
  • LiteLLM proxy model selector is automatically updated when new models become available.
  • Snowflake deployments keep your configured LLM provider active. Auto-switching to Cortex in some cases was eliminated.
  • Agents recover gracefully from provider context-limit errors, with unified detection across Bedrock and other providers so limit-exceeded responses are surfaced clearly instead of being swallowed.
  • Custom-header Bedrock authentication forwards credentials correctly through the Context Graph scanner and other downstream paths.
  • Cortex respects the configured embedding model instead of hardcoding a default, and strips unsupported JSON Schema keywords from structured-output requests to avoid provider rejections.
  • LiteLLM proxy and Databricks connections auto-register external-access endpoints on save, and compression routing handles proxy-prefixed models and 5xx retries more reliably.

Threads, Search, and Git Tools

Everyday agent workflows gained navigation and tooling fixes:
  • Unpinned threads appear after the pinned-threads page in the sidebar, so recently active conversations are easier to find.
  • Web search conversational key-setup flows resolve correctly after recent connection changes.
  • Git operations resolve remote organization, repository name, and URL references to local clones, and refresh same-named files reliably during sync.
  • Past SQL query recall is broader, helping agents find relevant prior work on tables still undergoing validation.

Agents, Security, and Administration

Access control, diagnostics, and platform hardening improved for governed deployments.
  • Agent RBAC routes resolve display names to canonical agent identifiers, so permission checks work when admins reference agents by their friendly name.
  • New permissions are disabled by default for all roles until an administrator explicitly enables them, reducing accidental over-provisioning after upgrades.
  • Container images received additional security hardening.
